Jen Longhurst has spent her career travelling the world making television.

​

Starting out in the sound department working in Network Television in Sydney, she then moved on to a successful freelance career, travelling the world.  She has lived and worked in Sydney, London, San Francisco and Los Angeles.​ She has worked on location in Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Canada, Finland, Germany, Japan, Netherlands, Thailand, U.A.E., the U.K. & the USA.

Her background is in Network Television & Pay TV (TEN 10 Sydney, TCN 9 Sydney, Optus Pay TV Australia, BSkyB London). 

 

Always keen to learn and expand skills, she has produced commercials for Universal Music and field produced for international clients. In recent years, she has been freelancing in Documentary and Factual genres for clients that include Discovery Channel, National Geographic, History Channel, Investigation Discovery, SBS, ABC, MTV Australia.

 

Extensive international travel as a crew member has given her a broad range of experience to draw on when organising travel, crew, equipment, and general production logistics.

Now settled in Los Angeles with her partner and children, she has been providing production services for various clients.
